Vi har samarbetat med Bra API att ta bort havsbundet plastavfall. Att stoppa plast inom 50 km från en havsbunden vattenväg eller kustlinje minskar sannolikheten för att den rinner ut i havet. Detta i sin tur hjälper till att skydda marint liv, mikroorganismer och hotade arter från plastföroreningar.
Varje steg i plastens livscykel – utvinning, transport, tillverkning och bortskaffande – släpper ut enorma mängder växthusgaser, mestadels CO2. Ocean Bound plast förvandlas till plastråvara vilket möjliggör en cirkulär ekonomi och minskar behovet av jungfruligt plastmaterial
